Secretary Lawrence Bach represented the chapter as delegates to the AFSA International Professional Airmen’s Conference/Convention in Atlanta, Georgia from 15-20 August 2009. The Thunderbird Chapter 985 and its members continue its winning tradition as recipients of the following recognition. Members of Chapter 985 – congratulations! The International Chapter of the Year award has not been awarded to us in 15+ years!

Recruiting and Retention incentives

We will be conducting our Semi-Annual Recruiting and Retention drive. Jul – Sep 2009. You will be able to stop by booth located in the BX, pick up literature, sign up new members (web-application) and renew membership.
The Executive Council approved two recruiting and retention incentives. If you join or renew membership thru 30 Sep 2009 you are entered to be selected for a $100 for 1st drawing and $50 for 2nd drawing. Winners will be announced at Oct 2009 General Membership Meeting. Member is required to be present for presentation. Thanks for your outstanding support. More to come.
